Baking Cupcakes
Just last month, I finally accomplished my longtime dream of baking cupcakes. The ingredients and equipment were all set, and I can finally use the oven. Definitely a special moment for me! These are just vanilla cupcakes with the most basic cupcake recipe ever.

DIY Bunting
You will need:
pattern papers cut into 12 triangles
string
tape
scissors
Fold the upper part of the triangle, this is where we will place the string.
Cut out the excess paper after folding.
I didn't throw it away and I will find a purpose for them someday.
You can use whatever paper you'd like. These floral prints are perfect for my room!
Place the string inside the folded part of the triangle.
Secure with tape and it's now ready to be hung!
It's really easy to do, but here are my tips to make the process much easier:
-measure the string first and decide if you are satisfied with the length
- decide in advance where the desired wall area is, and test if the bunting would really look nice there
- be sure the triangles are all the same sizes (you can measure with ruler and mark the back)
- be generous in securing it with tape so it won't eventually fall
- make sure the triangles are equally spaced when placed on the string

Halloween Nail Art
Happy Halloween! Today I'll post a nail art inspired by Halloween. Fun and spooky yet creative!
On to my nail art tutorial:
You will need:
Nail polish (white,red, orange, pink)
Nail art pen (black and red)
Base coat and top coat
STEPS:
Apply a base coat nail polish to all nails.
Tombstone: Paint your nail white. Using the nail art pen, create the shape of the tombstone and write RIP and a cross below. Paint outer sides with red.
Ghost: Paint your nail white. Using the nail art pen, create the shape of the ghost and create the eyes and a big mouth. Paint outer sides with black using the nail art pen to make it easier.
Zombie: Paint your nail white. Using the nail art pen, create the mouth by making a horizontal line with three short vertical lines across it. Make the eyes by creating a dot or a small cross.
Pumpkin: Paint your nail orange. Using the nail art pen, create two small triangles as the eyes. Create three triangles upside down connected to each other to make a mouth.
Blood and Scar: Paint your nail pink. Apply a thick red nail polish and using a Q tip, scrape the middle part to reveal the pink shade. The grossier the better. (is grossier even a word?!) LOL
Jason: Paint your nail white. Using the nail art pen, create the dots with black and the three triangles red. You can look at Jason's mask as a guide for making the dots and triangles.
Let it all dry and apply the top coat. For the Blood and Scar, I prefer not to apply a top coat for a more disgusting effect. :)
I hope you enjoy making the nail art and have fun this Halloween!
