Last Thursday was a sudden no classes day in the middle of our preliminary exams week and now I'm typing this on a Monday where it was announced just last night that classes were also suspended.
I had classes during last Friday though, and right after that, I went out with my college friends to the mall (which rarely happens) and we all had a great time. My singing skills are now known to them courtesy of a karaoke room party for rent. I'm also crazy-glad that three of them rode the train with me, including two first timers!
Back to what happened on Thursday, I finally registered to vote! As you all know, I'm turning 18 this 18th of October. I know, it feels crazy, the plans are made, invitations are given out, still having doubts and random thoughts here and there, but overall, I'm super excited and nervous at the same time.
It was originally planned that my godfather, a fashion designer, will make my dress. But just this Sunday, I heard about one of my favorite designers and her special service of transforming into what I was actually expecting to look like for my 18th. I told my parents, registered, and sent her a message. You could just imagine how tense I am since I really can't wait for what she'd say next or if it would really happen. It was late Sunday night when we finally sealed the deal. My mom and I are still talking about the uncertainties and stuff that are too complicated to explain here, but we both know for sure that this was a great deal! As for my godfather's dress, I could wear it afterwards when I have to return the rented dress.
I still have school to focus on this week and come Sunday, well.. we could just imagine for the meantime.
P.S. This is my first time to do a personal post.
