Singapore 2016 Part 1 - Orchard Road

First time in Singapore!

The nearest MRT station to us is Somerset, so after checking in and grabbing dinner, we went to get our MRT cards. A great thing about MRT cards is that they'll never expire, and I can use the balance again when I return anytime in Singapore!
We really wanted to explore Orchard Road just after arriving even though the malls are about to close.
I was on the hunt for a cute bag, but sadly didn't get one here in SG.

Mom wanted to check out the huge Marks & Spencer store in Wheelock Place, and I was so happy to find these white chocolate buttons which I really loved during childhood. I used to pretend it's a communion wafer.
We walked around ION and ate lunch there, but we forgot to check out ION Sky. Oh well, maybe next time.
This cute place along Orchard Road! Mom liked it too. I thought to myself, "Wait until you see Haji Lane!" But at this moment, I wasn't so sure if we'd be able to visit Haji Lane but I'm wishing we could go there. **spoiler** We did go to Haji Lane on the last day and of course I'll post about it!
Day version of the shot I did last night.
This super tall thing that's so interesting but so hard to take a photo of, inside Orchard Central.
