A French Macaron-scented body spritz! I fell in love the moment I saw it. I must have it and try it myself. I love macarons and I know a lot of people do, too.

I bought this for 399 pesos at one of their stores here in the Philippines. They are locally made so I totally want to support and buy more of their products in the future. It contains 120 mL which is not so bad.

The scent at first smells like something not too energetic. It smells like something deep but sweet. A very unique scent. I have not smelled the scent from anywhere else. A sad but true story, a friend of mine smelled me right after I sprayed some on myself, and she said it smells awful.

The bottle design is elegant and vintage-inspired. The color is kind of weird though, dirty white and slightly yellow-ish. Hope they would try to change the color to a more sweet-looking one.

macaron v macaroon

One thing they got wrong was they named it “French Macaroons” when it should really be called “French Macarons”, with only one O. Still, I named the title of this post with macaroons because that is the product’s name (as of now). In case you are getting confused, a macaron is the mini burger-like sweet and chewy baked pastry that comes in a lot of flavors and colors. Just like those three lovely treats on the bottle. One of the main ingredients of macarons are almonds. A macaroon is also a baked pastry that is shaped like a small rock and usually contains coconut. They are usually golden brown, just like normal breads.

The product is obviously pertaining to macarons, and not macaroons so I hope they wouldn’t mind correcting the future bottles of this amazing and unique body spritz.

Pros:
-French Macarons-inspired scent.
-Cute bottle, not too bulky so I can easily put in my bag.
-Smell nice.
-Totally unique scent. (but if you ever smelled it too and know something that smells just like it, feel free to comment!)
-Long lasting.

Cons:
-Should be named “French Macarons” and not macaroons.
-Weird color of the body spritz.
-Some might find the scent unpleasant, including you.

Rating: 2.5/5

Would I repurchase?: No.
