Dubbed as "Little Amsterdam" and known for its colorful Celosia flowers used during the Sinulog Festival.
I really have a soft spot for flower gardens.

After a few minutes of googling for the name of these small and charming purple flowers, I found out they were called either gomphrena globosa, globe amaranth, or vadamalli. I prefer calling it gomphrena or vadamalli.
Why do I have the feeling that they would taste like sweet candy?
