Shortly after our visit to MalacaƱang of the North, we went straight ahead to Marcos Museum. Just right beside this museum is Ferdinand Marcos' mausoleum! His body is laying there in peace, covered in glasses, guarded by a lot of men. Photos are forbidden inside it obviously, so just enjoy the photos I took in the museum instead. :)
I didn't get to live during the Martial law era and all that but at least we have this museum today.
I'm not much of a history buff and all the Marcos and martial law stuff, but I think this is a sensitive and complicated thing to talk about. idk lol.. Just an Ilocos tourist wanting to explore and have fun, nothing else.
I like old books, that's why.
Dad made a joke about it being a sewing machine. It is not.
I think a friend of mine looks like young Ferdinand Marcos! OMG..
..and I'm planning to tell it really soon to our group page. (I already did, and my friend thinks I'm crazy..) Some believe me, some didn't meeh..
Ooh Tokyo, Japan. (lol what.. I think I really am crazy).. See I have this somehow secret obsession for Japan and I really wanna go there someday, okay not related.. moving on.
Spot the watermelon.
A closer look at the watermelon. This is my personal blog, and I happen to love watermelons.
I somehow thought to myself inside, I wanna see Imelda's shoe collection.
OMG somehow a watermelon love story! ;_;
This is Marcos' mausoleum and photo-taking is not allowed inside. Attempting to do so would be really disrespectful, and there are guards everywhere. I even heard that there are spies pretending to be normal people entering but are actually spying to catch people who will violate. On another note, sorry for the finger and two heads photobombing.
P.S. Next post will still be from the same day and also the following day, because we settled there overnight (finally!), and it is Pagudpud beach!
