Hong Kong 2012 Part 1 - Kowloon (Tsim Sha Tsui, Avenue of Stars/Symphony of Lights)

I know, I know, "2012?! But it's already 2014!" Well, this was my first trip out of the country, and I don't blog during these times, but it's never too late right? :)

  Yes, so thrilled to be riding a plane! Munching on some Cheetos, I'm all set!

  Level: Clouds

I always see people share a photo of the outside world from the airplane. Yes it just looks fantastic, doesn't it? Endless sight of clouds right in front of you, no need to look up.

 What's in my bag? Food and stuff? I really can't tell much more. LOL

Touchdown Hong Kong!

After checking in, we went outside and one of the nearest from us is Kowloon Park.

 Swimming?! In this kind of weather?! How about a no. XD Seriously, it's too cold to go swimming! I don't even feel like taking a bath during our stay, but I had too because I was just a teenager with her parents!

Hunger strikes.. and we ate at:

McDonalds! We did this for 4 days straight during our stay.. because the kids don't eat Chinese Food (guess if I'm included with the kids), and we are not prepared for the pricey restaurants around. A meal per person at McDonalds costs 20HKD. Totally a bargain as this includes a Big Mac, large drink, and large fries! Yes, we have the perfect excuse to eat McDo for 4 days straight. I was also too astounded to have Fanta because locally it is called Royal. I ♥ Fanta but Royal, not so much. I'm weird like that.

Next stop was Avenue of Stars! Symphony of Lights. ♥

That's all Day 1 and tell you what, as far as I remember, this was incomplete. I remember going to Mong Kok and a lot more since we just went walking and walking. I promise, I'll do better with the documentation next time. ;)
